1. Scope

This policy applies to:

1. The ChatManager Chrome extension.
2. Any privacy-related support communication you send to us (for example, by email).

This policy does not apply to third-party websites and services you visit (including ChatGPT and Gemini), which have their own privacy policies.

2. What ChatManager Does

ChatManager helps users organize AI conversations from supported websites into a file-like structure (projects/folders), search records, view recents, and open saved conversations.

Supported host permissions are currently limited to:

1. https://chatgpt.com/*
2. https://chat.openai.com/*
3. https://gemini.google.com/*

3. Information the Extension Processes

ChatManager is designed to minimize data use. It primarily processes and stores data locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local.

Data categories:

1. Conversation metadata
   • Conversation URL.
   • Conversation title (as available from page title/visible conversation title).
   • Conversation key/identifier generated from URL.
   • Timestamps such as created/updated/last opened.
   • Source/platform flag (for example, ChatGPT or Gemini).
